Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell was born in the year 1970. She is a five foot nine" tall American actress. Mitchell played Dr. Juliet Burke, a part of ABC's Lost. Gia. Mitchell stars alongside Eric Kripke in the television series Revolution that airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather and Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) is her mother. They are both Dallas-based lawyers. Mitchell and mother moved from California to Dallas Texas from California in 1970. In the year 1975 Mitchell's mother got married to Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell was a student at Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts an all-public magnet high school. She is the oldest sister of Katherine Day Kate Mitchell, Kristina Helen Kristie Mitchell and Kristina H. Kristie Mitchell. Mitchell earned an associate degree in acting in fine arts from Stephens College in 1991. The school she attended was the British American Drama Academy. Mitchell was a part of the Dallas Theater Center for six years. Dallas Theater Center, and one time at Encore Theater. Her most famous role is acting as Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) On June 2010, it was announced that the Criminal Minds role would be cut in half for the sixth-season. Brewster quit the show on March 11, 2011 however, she could return at a later date.
