Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Keesha set her sights on the stage. Keesha was a part of her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other stage performances included Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha was a playwright alongside August Wilson himself. In addition, she is working on several new projects in the process of development.
