Her other film credits are The 636, for which she won best Actress at the 2013 NYLA International Film Festival, Shattered!, Never Die Alone, and American Adobo. Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Keesha set her sights on the stage. Keesha was a part of her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other stage performances included Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha was a playwright alongside August Wilson himself. The work of Keesha includes directing episodes of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?" and short films One Day Lillian and Half Off. Keesha co-created Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll. In addition, she is working on several new projects in the process of development.
